If you’re looking for something different to do this weekend, check out the second annual spring flea market and the Ocean County Historical Society’s annual event. You’ll be able to buy local history books, play games with the children, and get lucky with 50/50 raffle tickets. There are also free events that feature live entertainment and a chili and salsa tasting kit. If you want to do something a little different, the Ocean County Historical Society hosts its annual festival at the Park on Hadley Avenue in Toms River Township.
For the music lover, the Ocean County Artists’ Guild will sing acoustic tunes at the Island Heights Community Center. The acoustic event takes place every Wednesday evening from 7-10pm, and will feature local musicians, including the Ocean County Artists’ Guild. The concert is open to the public.
